روز ۲۱آذرماه ۱۴۰۴، مراسمی به مناسبت هفتمین روز درگذشت ناگهانی و ابهامآمیز زندهیاد خسرو علیکردی، به دعوت برادر ایشان جواد علیکردی، و با حضور صد ها تن از شهروندان، فعالان مدنی و کنشگران حقوق بشر برگزار شد.
در جریان این مراسم، هنگام سخنرانی نرگس محمدی، فعال برجسته حقوق بشر، برنده جایزه صلح نوبل و عضو کمپین توقف علیه قتلهای ناموسی، گروهی به قصد جلوگیری از ایراد سخنرانی و ایجاد تنش، اقدام به برهم زدن مراسم کردند. همزمان، تعداد زیادی از مأموران حکومتی در پوشش لباس شخصی وارد جمعیت شدند و با ایجاد فضای رعب و وحشت، نرگس محمدی را با خشونت از سکوی سخنرانی پایین کشیدند.
در ادامه، نرگس محمدی به همراه جمعی دیگر از فعالان مدنی، از جمله سپیده قلیان، عالیه مطلبزاده، پوران ناظمی، هستی امیری و شماری دیگر، که بنا بر گزارش رسانهها تعداد آنان بیش از چهل نفر بوده است، با خشونت شدید بازداشت شدند. این برخوردها نقض آشکار حق تجمع مسالمتآمیز، آزادی بیان و اصول اولیه دادرسی عادلانه است.
اکنون، با گذشت چند روز از بازداشت و ربودن نرگس محمدی و دیگر فعالان، هیچگونه اطلاع رسمی و شفافی درباره محل نگهداری، وضعیت جسمی و شرایط حقوقی آنان در دست نیست؛ امری که نگرانیهای جدی درباره سلامت و امنیت جانی بازداشتشدگان را افزایش داده است.
کمیته صلح نوبل، بسیاری از نهادهای بینالمللی حقوق بشری، و همچنین فرزندان نرگس محمدی، ضمن ابراز نگرانی عمیق نسبت به وضعیت جسمی و سلامت او، خواستار آزادی بیقید و شرط وی و سایر بازداشتشدگان شدهاند.
کمپین توقف قتلهای ناموسی نیز با تأکید بر مسئولیت مستقیم حکومت اسلامی در حفظ جان و حقوق شهروندان، خواستار آزادی فوری و بیقید و شرط ، نرگس محمدی، و تمامی افرادی است که صرفاً به دلیل حضور در یک مراسم یادبود و ابراز همدردی با خانوادهای داغدار، بازداشت شدهاند.
ما از حکومت اسلامی میخواهیم که فوراً به بازداشتهای خودسرانه پایان دهد، همه بازداشتشدگان این مراسم را بدون هیچ قید و شرطی آزاد کند و به تعهدات بینالمللی خود در قبال حقوق بشر پایبند بماند.

Statement by the Stop Honor Killings Campaign
Call for the Unconditional Release of Narges Mohammadi and Other Detainees from the Memorial Ceremony of the Late Khosrow Alikordi
We call for the immediate and unconditional release of Narges Mohammadi and all individuals detained in connection with the memorial ceremony for the late Khosrow Alikordi.
On 21 Azar 1404 (December 12, 2025), a memorial gathering was held to mark the seventh day following the sudden and suspicious death of the late Khosrow Alikordi. The ceremony was organized at the invitation of his brother, Javad Alikordi, and was attended by hundreds of citizens, civil society activists, and human rights defenders.
During the event, while Narges Mohammadi—a prominent human rights activist, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and member of the Stop Honor Killings Campaign—was delivering a speech, a group deliberately disrupted the ceremony with the apparent intent of preventing her address and creating tension. Simultaneously, a large number of government agents in plain clothes entered the gathering and, by creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, forcibly removed Narges Mohammadi from the speaking platform.
Subsequently, Narges Mohammadi, along with several other civil society activists—including Sepideh Gholian, Alieh Motallebzadeh, Pouran Nazemi, Hasti Amiri, and a number of others, reportedly exceeding forty individuals according to media sources—were violently arrested. These actions constitute a clear violation of the right to peaceful assembly, freedom of expression, and the fundamental principles of fair trial.
Now, several days after the arrest and enforced disappearance of Narges Mohammadi and other activists, no official or transparent information has been provided regarding their place of detention, physical condition, or legal status. This lack of information has significantly heightened concerns regarding the health, safety, and lives of the detainees.
The Nobel Peace Prize Committee, numerous international human rights organizations, and Narges Mohammadi’s children have expressed deep concern over her physical condition and health, and have called for her immediate and unconditional release, along with that of all other detainees.
The Stop Honor Killings Campaign, emphasizing the direct responsibility of the Islamic Republic to protect the lives and rights of its citizens, demands the immediate and unconditional release of Narges Mohammadi and all those who were detained solely for attending a memorial ceremony and expressing solidarity with a grieving family. We call on the Islamic Republic to immediately end arbitrary arrests, release all detainees from this ceremony without any conditions, and uphold its international human rights obligations.
