حزب چپ ایران مراتب قدردانی عمیق و صمیمانه خود را از تصویب قطعنامه اخیر پارلمان اروپا درباره ایران اعلام می دارد. قطعنامه ای که در آن سرکوب خشونت بار مردم ایران، به ویژه فعالان مدنی، معترضان، زنان و اقلیتها، بهروشنی با اکثریتی قاطع محکوم شده است.
این تصمیم پارلمان اروپا و پیام صریح شما، نه تنها موضعی اصولی در دفاع از حقوق بشر است، بلکه برای مردم ایران پیامی امیدبخش و دلگرم کننده به شمار میآید. پیامی که نشان می دهد صدای آنان از سد سانسور و سرکوب گذشته و مطالبات برحق شان علیه استبداد و در راه آزادی و دموکراسی، در عرصه بینالمللی شنیده و حمایت میشود.
ما به طور ویژه از حمایت نمایندگان پارلمان اروپا از جنبش مردمی ایران و درخواست قاطع آنان برای آزادی فوری همه زندانیان سیاسی، از جمله خانم نرگس محمدی، صمیمانه و عمیقاً سپاسگزاریم. محکومیت روشن خشونت های اعمال شده علیه مردم ایران، گامی مهم و اثرگذار در پاسداری از ارزشهای جهانی حقوق بشر است.
در عین حال، تاکید می کنیم که ما خواهان حمایت از مطالبات دموکراتیک مردم ایران هستیم، اما هرگونه دخالت خارجی، چه به شکل نظامی و چه غیرنظامی، را به زیان روند تحقق دموکراسی در ایران می دانیم. تجربه های تاریخی نشان داده است که بنای دموکراسی، زمانی پایدار و تضمینکننده آزادی برای همگان خواهد بود که با اراده و دستان خود مردم ساخته شود. تنها از رهگذر اراده آزاد شهروندان، مشارکت همگانی و اتکا به ظرفیت های درونی جامعه است که میتوان به دموکراسی دست یافت.
بیتردید حمایت جامعه جهانی از حقوق بنیادین مردم ایران، در چارچوب احترام به حق تعیین سرنوشت و استقلال کشور، می تواند پشتوانه ای قوی، مؤثر و امیدبخش برای جنبش آزادی خواهانه مردم باشد.

Statement of Deep Gratitude for the European Parliament’s Resolution Denouncing the Violent Repression of the Iranian People

The Left Party of Iran expresses its deep and sincere gratitude for the adoption of the recent European Parliament resolution on Iran. In this resolution, the violent repression of the people of Iran, especially civil activists, protesters, women, and minorities, has been clearly condemned by a significant majority.
This decision by the European Parliament, along with your clear message, is not only a principled stance in defence of human rights but also an encouraging and hopeful message for the people of Iran. It illustrates that their voices have overcome censorship and repression, and that their legitimate demands against authoritarianism, in pursuit of freedom and democracy, are being heard and supported on the international stage.
We are particularly and sincerely grateful for the European Parliament members’ support for the popular movement in Iran and for their firm call for the immediate release of all political prisoners, including Ms. Narges Mohammadi. The clear condemnation of the violence inflicted upon the people of Iran is an important and meaningful step towards safeguarding universal human rights values.
At the same time, we emphasize that while we seek support for the democratic demands of the Iranian people, we consider any form of foreign intervention, whether military or non-military, to be detrimental to the process of achieving democracy in Iran. Historical experience has shown that democracy becomes lasting and truly guarantees freedom for all only when it is built by the will and hands of the people themselves. It is solely through the free will of citizens, broad participation, and reliance on the internal capacities of society that democracy can be achieved.
Undoubtedly, the support of the international community for the fundamental rights of the people of Iran, within the framework of respect for national independence and the right to self-determination, can serve as a strong, effective, and hopeful backing for the people’s movement for freedom.
